Fire Weather Warning
for the Mallee fire weather district.
Issued at 5:00 am EDT on Monday 2 October 2023.
The CFA advises that you:
- Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through ABC Local Radio, commercial and
designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV, www.emergency.vic.gov.au
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Hot and dry conditions combined with fresh and gusty northeast to northwesterly
winds will result in locally extreme fire danger during Monday across the
Mallee district. Dry thunderstorms are a risk across parts of the Mallee during
